A Collection of Aussie Radio Shows No 159 The radio comedy " The Samuel Pepys Show" , written and produced by Doug Edwards and Ian Heydon, ran for three seasons of 13 half-hour episodes from 1983 to 1985. Starring Higgins, Moore and Kev Golsby, the show was recorded live with a studio audience, something that had not been done since the heyday of radio in the 1940s and 1950s and has not been attempted since. These shows come from a special program "The Best of The Samuel Pepys Show", featuring highlights from all three seasons, broadcast in 1985.
