A Collection of Aussie Radio Shows No 23 This 36-chapter serial comes from Australian radio and was created by George Edwards, who was a major broadcast celebrity "down under" from the 1930s through his death in the 1950s. Edwards' versatility at playing several characters in distinctly different voices, even conversing between characters, earned him the title of "The Man of a Thousand Voices." These recordings have been acquired from publicly available sources on the Internet, and my goal has been to put together a collection of every available episode where possible. What survives, year by year
8 dated broadcasts across 97 years on the air, with 96 years where nothing is known to survive. Brightness is transfer quality; empty cells are months lost to time.
