(09 Episodes) "Front Page Farrell" was a 15 minute daily, "Husband & Wife Detective Team" Soap Opera/Crime Serial, broadcast by Mutual/NBC from June 23, 1941 thru March 26, 1954. This serial was a Soap Opera disguised as a Crime Serial, to coax the working-class man to sit by the radio, after his long hard day at work. Judging by the length of the run, the idea worked! Because this detective soap opera took place during WWII, many of the episodes were taken directly from real life, more specifically, from the Office of War Information.
